As Artistic Director, it is my great privilege to welcome you to a place dedicated to helping each individual discover the transformative and restorative power of the arts. One thing I’ve come to notice over the years is that people who truly thrive are often deeply connected to - and take good care of - their innermost selves. I believe that the arts—whether it’s music, dance, visual arts, or any form of creative expression—are among the most accessible and meaningful ways to reach that inner connection.

Of course, this journey is not always easy, and at times it can feel rather lonely. My own path in the arts has been deeply enriched by my family, friends, and colleagues, with whom I shared the joys and challenges of pursuing music. Having someone to share that journey with made all the difference—through the ups and downs, it has been one of the greatest gifts of my life.

My hope is that Bayview Centre for the Arts can be a community for you, a place where you find support, friendship, and inspiration as you explore and grow. I look forward to being part of your journey and to witnessing the unique gifts each of you brings to our vibrant artistic family.
